Lionsgate and Universal’s highly anticipated Michael Jackson biopic Michael is now set for a global theatrical release on Friday, April 24, including IMAX screenings, with Kino Films distributing in Japan and Universal handling the rest of the world. Directed by Antoine Fuqua and produced by Graham King—whose Bohemian Rhapsody grossed over $910M and won four Oscars—the film stars Jackson’s nephew Jaafar Jackson and has undergone significant edits, including the removal of scenes referencing Jordan Chandler due to estate agreements. The release date positions Michael advantageously between major studio titles, making it a prime box office contender.

THE GILMOUR PROJECT'S 2022 TOUR STIRS UP THOSE OLD FLOYD GHOSTS

If you haven’t heard the early reports yet, there’s a new all-star psych/jam band making quite a stir with their exploratory shows and streaming events called The Gilmour Project. Yes, “Gilmour,” as in guitarist David Gilmour of Pink Floyd. But nearly the only thing this “project” has in common with their namesake is the same deep well of cosmic-blues-based progressive rock first dug out by the original band. And though neither Gilmour nor other Floyd members are involved, the word is this new, five-man band of psychedelic jam slingers is seriously stirring up the ghosts of early-‘70s Floyd with a brand new spoon.

Brent Barrett

Reprising his role as Billy Flynn in the Tony Award- winning hit, CHICAGO-The Musical, Brent received the LA Drama Critics Award and an Olivier Award nomination for his starring role in the London premiere of the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of Kiss Me, Kate.

John Cudia

A lyric tenor having made his Lyric Opera of Chicago debut as Curle in their production of Oklahoma!, John holds the distinct honor of being the first and only actor to have performed as both the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera and Jean Valjean in Les Misérables on Broadway, in addition to portraying Che in Evita alongside Ricky Martin.

Franc D’Ambrosio

Best known for his impressive portrayal of the lead role in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Tony Award-winning musical, The Phantom of the Opera, Franc’s extensive resume also includes playing the opera-singing son of Al Pacino and Diane Keaton in the seven-time Academy Award-nominated film, Godfather III.

Ciarán Sheehan

Having performed the role of the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera to critical acclaim both on Broadway and in Toronto, Ciarán’s other Broadway roles include Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera, Babet and Marius in Les Miserables, Sir Dinadan in Camelot with Jeremy Irons, and Woody in Finian’s Rainbow opposite Melissa Errico.

Tyrese Confirms NEW TGT Album Is In The Works: The trio is comprised of Tyrese, Ginuwine, and Tank (4.5.23)

“During a recent episode of iHeartMedia’s R&B Money podcast, which is hosted by Tank and J. Valentine, the actor/singer confirmed that the trio, comprised of himself, Ginuwine and Tank, are recording for the project.

“I got some great news for you, Tank and J,” Tyrese revealed. “Atlantic Records has officially agreed to sign TGT for a second album… yeah, congratulations.” The two then discussed making another album together but didn’t reveal a release date.

Back in 2013, TGT released their debut album Three Kings. It debuted at Number 3 on the Billboard 200. In an Instagram post from March, Tyrese reflected on working with Tank.”
