Michael is an upcoming American biographical musical drama directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by John Logan. The film tells the story of the legendary singer, songwriter, and dancer Michael Jackson, tracing his extraordinary life and career from his early years with the Jackson 5 in the 1960s and 1970s to his final weeks before his death in 2009. Starring in his film debut is Jaafar Jackson, Michael’s nephew, in the titular role. The cast also includes Colman Domingo, Nia Long, Miles Teller, Laura Harrier, Kat Graham, Larenz Tate, and Derek Luke, each bringing key figures from Michael’s personal and professional life to the screen.
