Monitor Collective has been one of Colombia’s most sophisticated artists within the alternative sphere. Since opening last year in Vegas for “Kerala Dust” at the Area 15 Club, the collective has been on a roll with the release of their newest album titled “Universal” (2023). The album’s producers Mauricio García (Latin Grammy award winner) and Camilo Sánchez toured in the United States and Colombia lighting the dance floor on fire. Made between Los Angeles and Bogotá, “Universal” embodies Monitor Collective’s tribal and electronic influences. A nature-inspired album, through synths, samples and technology, paints a groovy, yet astounding, picture through music which includes a few songs featuring special guests such as Walt Anderson (Kool & The Gang,) Mireya (Flor de Toloache,) and Frank Lucas (Motherflowers). In 2024, the collective will be releasing their third studio album, INTI, the first single is out now on all platforms.
