During one of the toughest times our generation has experienced, a brazilian band gets everyone’s attention when Instagram showed a picture of Eddie Vedder and his entire family dressed up with Black Circle’s hats and shirts.

The five piece group from Rio de Janeiro was featured in all sorts of magazines, blogs and websites right after being discovered and supported by the most relevant artist from Seattle’s music scene. During the pandemic, Black Circle did 25 live streams, all of them featuring 3+ hours of music and creating a moment of comfort to all 90’s rock fans.

During a couple of those shows, Eddie and his wife Jill showed up in the comments section and chatted with the fans, leading to a bunch of unique moments in everybody’s lives. That culminated on an invite for Black Circle to perform an opening act at a benefit live stream with none but Adam Sandle, Adam Levine, Billie Eilish, Willie Nelson, Bradley Cooper, Jimmy Kimmel, David Letterman and Eddie Vedder himself.

Besides the internet success, Black Circle has been featured on a couple of brazilian’s TV shows and started their own original music career by releasing Mercury (2020) and Pandora (2022) – both available on all streaming platforms. Honorable mention to the track Drive Home In The Rain, quoted as “Eddie’s favorite”.

Back to live stages in 2021, the band has already performed in almost all Brazilian states and two nights in Lima, Peru – most of them sold out.
