Lead single “Scooch”, which is her first #1 on the UAC, is a mid-tempo and playful song that speaks to love from a place of innocence reminiscent of the warm feeling that exists in a relationship. With following tracks, “Blame Yourself” a song capturing the reality of being let down by the one you were foolishly in love with and “This Man” an appropriate song to confront the possibility of wanting someone who doesn’t belong to her, K. Michelle delivers her honesty and authenticity of spirit.
Tennessee native Michelle grew up absorbing the music of artists ranging from Whitney Houston to The Judds. She’s released six albums so far, including her 2013 debut “Rebellious Soul” and 2016’s “More Issues Than Vogue”. With 2023’s “I’m The Problem” announced as her final R&B project, Michelle has begun the process of release her debut country album, and putting her full expanse of musical artistry on display. She then issued songs including “Tennesee” and introduced her alter-ego, Puddin.
