February 26, 2024 – New York, NY – Universal Attractions Agency is proud to announce breaking news from the world of Southern Soul: Acclaimed soul artist King George has entered into an exclusive partnership with UAA’s Southern Soul Music Festival for 2024, and Sir Charles Jones has signed exclusively with Universal Attractions Agency and will be joining King George for the 2024 tour. UAA agents Nick Szatmari and Brian Lotterman will run point for the tour, and Sir Charles Jones.

UAA agent and partner Nick Szatmari spoke about soul music’s lasting impact: “I could not be more thrilled to be working with Brian to represent the Southern Soul Music Festival; it’s at the heart of what Universal Attractions has done since the James Brown days. Seeing soul music thriving across the country and leading the charge with such incredible ticket sales in these markets is gratifying for us all.”

Currently routing for fall 2024 (Sep-Nov), Southern Soul Music Festival tour dates will be announced this spring. Hosted by comedian Marvin Dixon, the tour will boast a lineup of today’s southern R&B and soul superstars: King George, Sir Charles Jones, Nellie Tiger Travis, TK Soul, Ronnie Bell, and FatDaddy.

Szatmari added: “This tour, and King George especially, has had a meteoric rise in the last couple of years, so we’re blessed to have an exclusive partnership with him on this run. And now, with Sir Charles Jones joining UAA’s exclusive roster of clients, it’s going to be an exciting year for the fans of Southern Soul. It’s Friday Night every night!”

This tremendous duo of King George and Sir Charles Jones was a main attraction of the inaugural 2022 Southern Soul Music Festival tour, which debuted to high acclaim and boasted 15 sold-out shows across the U.S., proving that Southern soul music is some of the hottest music that’s out right now.

“This tour has exploded out of the gate and is gonna Keep on Rollin!” continues Szatmari. “It has what you could call a cult following. The fans are so supportive; when the show comes to town, they show up for it, love it, and want MORE of it. And not just in the Deep South but up north and out west too.”

Universal Attractions Agent Brian Lottermann added, “I’m very excited to continue working with these stellar artists. After our sellout tour in 2022 and the repeated success in 2023, I look forward to bringing this show to new markets across the country while sharing the excitement of Southern Soul music with a wider audience. It’s all about the music bringing the community together for some good times, some good eats, and some good music!”

2024 Southern Soul Music Festival dates will be announced soon. Exact lineups may vary by city; please check southernsoulmusicgroup.com for updated show listings as dates are announced.
