Universal Attractions Agency has promoted Jay Wright to Northeast large-capacity agent. He will oversee all hip-hop and R&B bookings in venues with a capacity of 1,500 or more in his territory.
Jay’s roster of artists includes Sleepy Hallow, Styles P, Jon B, Lyfe Jennings, Barrington Levy, The Stylistics, Regina Belle, Evelyn Champagne King, Inner Circle, Trina, S.O.S Band, and J.I. The Prince of New York.
Before Jay’s promotion, he was the Northeast club and theater agent (1,499 capacity and under). As an agent, Jay has put together the successful Barrington Levy “Here I Come” tour in 2025, which ran over 50 dates, and a strong run with Ghostface Killah of Wu-Tang Clan this spring. Jay has also worked extensively with Grammy-winning artist Patti Austin and organized other successful runs for Lyfe Jennings and Jon B. Other artists Jay has worked with include a few shows with UB40 featuring Ali Campbell and a show on the Floetry “Say Yes” tour.

Jay first joined UAA in January 2023 as an intern and was hired in April, as he finished his last months of college. He is a proud alum of St. John’s University, where he majored in psychology and minored in music. Throughout his time at St. John’s, he also helped secure funding for a music studio on campus, expanding the music program and allowing the school to add new courses.
