Kisean Anderson, professionally known as Sean Kingston, is a Jamaican-American singer and songwriter who was born on February 3, 1990, in Miami, Florida and moved to Kingston, Jamaica, when he was six. In a venture between Epic Records and Koch Records, Kingston recorded and released the hit single, Beautiful Girls in May 2007. The song peaked at the top of the Billboard Hot 100. The week after the song’s digital release, it hit number one on Billboard spans Hot Digital Songs, debuting with 260,000 downloads in its first week (the second highest digital sales for a new song of 2007, only behind Rihanna’s “Umbrella”). Beautiful Girls was a success internationally, topping the charts in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the Republic of Ireland, Spain and the United Kingdom. The following singles released all made the Hot 100.
