Named “One of the Best” by USA Today and Voted “Best Comedy Hypnosis Show” in Vegas 6 years straight, Thom Kaz has blended traditional comedy hypnosis with lasers, dancers and music creating an interactive experience designed to entertain while introducing his audience to the power of the mind. Considered one of the fastest and funniest hypnotists in the world, his show has garnered national and international acclaim as one of the most innovative and creative hypnosis comedy shows ever produced. From his role as creator, producer and star of Hypnaughty, Thom has performed around the world and has appeared on HBO, Comedy Central, and countless television and radio appearances. In 2007, Thom was selected to perform by STRIX Television, original creators of the internationally syndicated “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire”, for a new reality show called “The Gambler”. At the end of each day, the player with the largest win total was exempt and the player who lost the most was eliminated. Each evening the contestants were invited to experience a live Las Vegas show. Thom performed on the first night of the broadcast hypnotizing all of the contestants to participate on stage in his Las Vegas show “Hypnaughty” which was seen in 27 countries by over 25 million viewers.
Thom has headlined in Casinos, Comedy Clubs and Theaters throughout the United States and Internationally. In 2008, he was personally selected by Harrah’s Entertainment to perform in their main showroom as the star of the “World’s Funniest Hypnotists”. The show was performed seven days a week in the main showroom at Harrah’s Las Vegas alongside Comedy Magician Mac King and Legendary Comedienne Rita Rudner.
In 2010 Thom brought his dynamic show to Harrah’s New Orleans and Hollywood Casino in Mississippi and played to sold out shows each performance with over 1,000 and 2,500 in attendance respectively each weekend. In 2011, Thom brought Hypnaughty back to the Gulf Coast and performed 17 straight standing room only shows at the IP Casino and Resort in Biloxi, Mississippi. In 2011, Thom was selected as the featured entertainment for the GoDaddy.com Bowl Team Night and has now performed two consecutive years for over 2,000 players, families, bands, cheer squads and associates from the selected teams.
At the conclusion of 2012’s amazing run, Thom entered a new agreement to bring Hypnaughty back to the Hard Rock Casino and Resort in Biloxi, Mississippi in 2013, promising a bigger, even more interactive version of the show. Hard Rock Live! is the new home for Hypnaughty and the collaboration between Thom Kaz and Hard Rock has delivered 24 consecutive laugh out loud performances to over 10,000 guests. In addition to performing, Thom works as a motivational speaker and peak performance coach for professional athletes, business executives and those seeking a higher level of personal achievement. He is active in several charitable and philanthropic endeavors locally and nationally. Thom is tireless in his ongoing efforts to help children and those in need. As an example, Thom helped to organize and produce several fundraising shows along the Gulf Coast donating 100 percent of the net proceeds of each show to Hurricane Katrina victims, and tornado victims in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He is an avid supporter of several charities including the March of Dimes, United Way, St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital and the Make a Wish Foundation.
